This web app uses anime as a familiar visual theme for people beginning to learn Japanese. The learning journey starts with Hiragana and Katakana, presenting written characters alongside Romanised pronunciation and a button that plays the corresponding sound. Voiced, half-voiced, voiceless and Yōon sounds are included as part of this foundation.
The vocabulary section then connects Japanese words with three selected anime backgrounds. It includes 60 words with Chinese meanings and audio playback, choosing practical vocabulary that can also appear in daily life. A final quiz draws 20 items at random from a 60-question pool. Learners receive clear green or red answer feedback but no timer or score pressure, so they can keep trying at their own pace.
