Mr. Hui’s Grammar Quiz gives young ESL learners a focused space to practise common English grammar challenges. Players choose a difficulty level and work through a mixture of multiple-choice questions and sentence-rearrangement tasks. Instead of simply marking an answer wrong, the quiz offers a hint and an explanation that helps the learner see why the correct form works.
The question bank uses familiar Hong Kong settings, from dim sum and the Star Ferry to Mong Kok and the MTR. Optional audio narration makes questions and feedback easier to follow, while a card-flip reveal keeps the answer process clear. A 15-question session ends with a results page; higher scores trigger a small confetti celebration. It can be used at home or in school.

What learners tested
The report documents a completed quiz with 210 questions. Testing with children from STEM lessons found the length and difficulty broadly appropriate, while images, a larger question bank and teacher customisation were identified for future versions.
