Lyrics Master is a shared game: a Melody Card gives the prompt, a QR-linked player supplies the music, and the lyric blank becomes a space to try an answer.
The physical cards and web player divide the work between hands, ears and conversation. Players first guess the tone pattern, then use the displayed music staff and playback to write; points recognise both accurate listening and the group’s favourite lyric. The result is less a quiz about the right answer than a social way into Cantonese sound and rhythm.

Prototype and playtesting
The report records a handmade working prototype, a GitHub Pages web player and a 40-song data library. Informal playtesting found the social lyric-writing element particularly engaging.
